Dennis Casey
Dennis formed the Milwaukee Rally years ago on the premise that High School athletes should not be penalized for pursuing their High School sports while also playing Club Volleyball. Over the past 20 years Dennis has successfully applied his coaching style and philosophy to his teams having coached hundreds of female athletes over this time. Past players would tell you that the time they spent on his teams were the "best" times they had in their athletic career. Casey believes that playing club volleyball should be one of the most rewarding parts of young adulthood, forming friendships and experiences that will last a lifetime.
Tim Makal
Tim has been coaching volleyball for 12 years. In addition to volleyball Tim has coached youth soccer and basketball. During his career he has had a tremendous positive impact on those he has coached. Players often stop by just to say hello representing the positive impact Tim has had in their life.
Dana Fry
This is Dana's third year of coaching for the Milwaukee Rally. Dana has previous coaching experience having coached for a club in southwestern Wisconsin. Dana played high school volleyball for Dodgeville High School where she was a setter. Along with playing in high school, Dana played club for three years.
Currently, Dana is a supervisor in the social work field. Dana works with children and families in Milwaukee County. Dana is pursuing her master's degree in counseling through Mount Mary college.
Ryan Roessler
This will be Ryan's third year coaching volleyball with the Rally. This year he successfully led the Shorewood Greyhounds girls volleyball team to their best conference record in years in his first year at the helm. Ryan has been in and around volleyball for many years, four of which were spent playing for Wauwatosa West HS. Ryan was the captain and an outside hitter for the Trojans and he received all conference and MVP nominations in 2002-2003. Despite having opportunity to play college ball Ryan chose to pursue a business degree at UWM which he received in 2007.
The desire to help players improve their game to allow them to play at a higher level is what motivates Ryan to coach. Knowledge, preparation, and passion for the game are the keys to any good team, and this is what Ryan looks for in a player as well as himself as a coach.
